Massively delayed end of Episode

[Sorry guys! I was convinced that this entry was already done before I left to Spain... I guess I must have done it in my head, ugh. Now things are quite sketchy, so I'm probably just going to skim and focus on the most important parts]

- After the whole mess on Ziost, Orion had a confesion to make to the group, he is actually an old Havoc Squad veteran, the squad had been dissolved when budget cuts started hacking Republic Military apart.
- Orion shared his thoughts, with their friend gone, they needed more help to bring the situation under control, as it seemed way bigger than them. He suggested a bold plan, to put Havoc Squad back together.
- Jan agreed with the plan, being familiar with the old Republic Military organization (and confirming some suspicion he had on Orion).
- Making a long story short, the team visited Orion's team second in command in Cerea, where he had settled down to have a family (which is required by Cerean law, amusingly enough). He told them of the whereabouts of their commander, and told them that he'd try to help from the ground should the need arise, but that his family needed him.
- Meanwhile, CR-0, realizing the threat of the Mando's was not going anywhere, decided to follow his assassination protocols and do a little solo run. He struck a deal with the moderate Kander chief, and agreed to destroy his rival, setting up a trap for him in his space station.
- Things did not work as planned, however, he failed to destroy the Mando one on one, though he did make his droids destroy his guards, and had to retreat to the stations innards. This did not dissuade CR-0 however, who flooded the station with deadly radiation, damaging it somewhat, but completely slaughtering the Mando's. His sense of pride was damaged though, and stayed alone in the station for the reminded of the adventure...
- Jad and Orion flew to the very end of the Galaxy, to the far away and secluded Kathol Sector. There, after following some leads and hitching a ride with a weird spacer, arrived in the planet Captain Jobus now called home.
- The reunion was not a happy one, however. Captain Jobus shared with Orion that he knew, or at least suspected, that the civil war might have been coming. However, because of tiredness, fear or simply self induced obliviousness, he had not warned anyone (not knowing who he could trust) and fled to far away, becoming a shell of the man he once was. Orion's words inspired him though, and this, together with his own guilt, convinced him to return to the Galaxy, to prepare Havoc Squad and maybe help return some peace it.

Vacationing in Ziost

- After the last adventure in Corellian space, our heroes met again with Jan, who had returned after having to do several infiltration runs for RSIS, dropping agents behind the frontlines.

- After joining up with the group, they decided that they needed more clear information on the dark side adepts plaging them, so they picked up Orn Free from Tython, and set a course for the ancient Sith capital of Ziost.

- In Ziost they found the weird and foreboding temple they had seen in Orn's. While exploring it's insides, the party was assaulted by some stealthy but huge sith creatures. Though the beasts where tough, the party took them down with minimal damage done to them.

- After some thorough exploring they found a passage way to the lower levels of the temple that could only be accessed by a Force user. Quin oppened the way and in the lower levels they found a proto-temple, much older than the one above and much less barroque.

- After moving through more roadblock that required the use of the Force, the party arrived at the eldest part of the temple, a huge underground dome, with a strange painting of the Galaxy. The painting had weird tendril-like lines of darkness that connected stars. In the middle of the room, under a double arch, rested an altar over which a strange black and red rock formation seemed to "grow" a monolith. It felt alive to the Force.

- CR-0 approached the weird rock and talked to it in old Sith. The rock reacted by modifiying it's surface, writting on it old sith runes, answering CR-0, and curious, since it could hear him but not "see" him (obviously since it saw with the Force).

- The creature explained that it was "a guardian" and that it was guarding "the nexus", this "nexus" was linked with other 3, through this nexus "the Darkness" moved, staying for some time in each of the links. The creature expressed time with maps of the Galaxy in diverse moments through it's history, from this, they gathered it was old... really old, older than the remains of the Sith Empire above, the Republic, and who knows what else.

- It also mentioned that, roughly some decades ago, several "figures" made contact with it, looking for the Darkness. He showed this figures, at least 4 of them, and two of them where the double light saber fighter found on the Mando station and also the Dark Figure. CR-0 also asked where the Darkness was now... the creature moved the starmap in the dome to show... New Duro...

- They decided to leave the "nexus" alone for now, not knowing what might trigger it's destruction, and headed out to the city above. There they were ambushed by almost an army of dark side adepts and the foreboading presence of a battle-cruiser in close orbit to the planet. The party rushed for their ships and Quin held the line till they were in the clear, dissapearing after being overrun by a mob of battlers.

- The party rushed for the hyperjump point with Replublic fighters close on their tail, but they beated them in speed and jumped to safety... for now!

Fun times in Corellia

[Can't believe it took me so long to update this... @_@ sorry guys, very tiring week... Onto the update!]

- Our heroes recovered their breath in the now secured space station and started planning their next stem. They found some old, but still functioning, droids, and they set them of to fix the stations defenses and find out if there was something else of importance on it.

- Afterwards, Quin contacted Tython through a secured channel and mentioned the artifacts in his power. Seeing as a trip to Tython might take too long, they decided to rendezvous with another Jedi Master on Corellia (which was on the way and it has declared itself neutral in the war)to give him the artifacts for safe keeping in Tython.

- After fixing and updating and old T5 to help them with astrogation, the party jumped into Orion's ship, the Javelin, and headed for Corellia.

- On their way, they were surprisingly intercepted by a Rebel gunship that was blocking their hyperjump point, and it's contingent of fighters. Quin focused on the force and told Orion to accelerate towards the gunship as in a ram. The gunship did not "chicken out" but when they were close enough, he summoned all the power in the force and moved the ship out of the way with telekinesis. Free to make the jump, the party continued towards Corellia.

- On Corellia, after going through customs, they met with Master Kael and Den, who had completed her training and was ready to join them. After doing the exchange, Master Kael asked them to watch out the station where he was on watch on his absence, as he felt there might be some trouble brewing.

- The situation on the station was the following,it was a trading/ customs station on the edge of Corellia, it was packed to the brim with refugees, and the situation was tense. Furthermore, diplomatic teams from both factions met monthly on the station to try and find a peaceful solution to the conflict, something that wasn't going that well.

- Our heroes studied the station and familiarized with it's inhabitants. Later, when the diplomats arrived, Quin solicited for him and Den to mediate on the meeting, which was accepted by the stations commander. CR-0 and Orion built a "caddy" droid to carry some of their equipment concealed, and CR-0 infiltrated the embassy where the talks were being held, while Orion kept watch outside.

- The diplomats arrived, both accompanied by a Jedi Master from their faction, for the rebels Master Rymobe was there, while the Loyalists had a Zabrak named Janus as their escort.

- After a boring and somewhat useless discussion in the embassy, the station started to receive serious fire. Quin and Den contained the diplomats before a fight broke out between them, while CR-0 spotted some of the Cathedrals acolytes infiltrating the building.

- Orion was quickly drafted to defend the station from the attackers, who had made space dust of most simple defenses and where pummeling the two defending cruisers. The attacking forces, a dreadnought and two frigates of republic manufacture, where throwing missiles toward the station. Orion quickly turned to the space battle and took command of several independent vessels, directing them to stop the incoming missiles and buy the station time till reinforcements arrived.

- Meanwhile, Quin and Den became aware of the ambush to the delegates thanks to CR-0, and managed to pull each group from the others throat. They headed to fight the acolytes, and partly ambushed them in reverse. After a long fight, the remaining acolytes scattered and the ships turned tailed when Cor-Sec arrived in force, the day was saved, for now.

Starbase of FUN!

- After our heroes returned to New Duro, Jan was unfortunately called to do something important, and had to leave immediately, leaving CR-0 and Quin alone in Nao Sang.

- There they met Orion, the bounty hunter. He quickly explained (with accompanying e-mail from Gorka's butler) that he had been hired by Gorka to "help them" finish their mission, and bring down whomever made Gorka feel like a fool.

- With this cleared out, and seeing as they needed a ship to head into that weird space station that the Mandalorian leader mentioned, they boarded Orion's ship, Javelin, towards the area of space in which the station was last seen.

- Our heroes approached the station stealthily, and managed to reach it undetected. After infiltrating it, the discovered that the station had been the site of a mayor battle between Revan's Jedi and he Mandalorians during the Mandalorian wars, 600 years ago. The Mando's had flushed the air out of the station and shut down the life support, flushing or suffocating many of the attacking jedi, but still the battle was fierce.

- They pressed forward and after circling around some guard droids (and getting the jump on them) found their way to the labs inside the station. The porpoise of this labs is not clear, but they found a big "rock" that had some written text in sith and it seemed similar to the hieroglyphs they read from the expedition to Ziost. The scientist in the recorded logs mentions that after bombarded it with some radiation some people on his team fell into some sort of trance, but he was never able to investigate further.

- After exploring more into the station using Orion's prove droid, Bit, they found that the innermost lab housed a very odd artifact, shaped like a weird spire. The artifact was in a crystal cylinder on the middle of the room, surrounded with a machine with hundreds of testing tools. The room was guarded by the already recognizable force adepts, also this time 2 seriously more powerful members of the cult or organization were with them.

- The heroes used Bit to deliver a virus to 4 guard droids also in the room, turning them against the force users and downing several of the least powerful ones. They used this opportunity to jump on them, knocking the apparent leader with one of Orion's missiles and giving CR-0 the chance to go in guns blazing.

- In the ensuring fight, the cultist were taken down with the exception of a weird one with an aura that made it seem as his cloak was made of shadows and one on the lackeys. They tried to start the self-destruct system while they run away, but CR-0 plugged himself into the system almost as if possessed and shut down the system.

- And so our story ended this way, at least for now.

When all else fails... Improvise!

[Since I'm really really tired for some reason, but I don't want all of the info to be forgotten, I'm going to do this one post-it note style]

- Our heroes arrived at the Mandalorian citadel, where the Clan Elder from Clan Kander explained the problems in his backyard and how the heroes could help stabilize it. He also mentioned in a recording, that he's found out of a weird starbase in the middle of nowhere that dates back to the Mandalorian Wars.
- Unsure that helping the Mando's is their best course of action, our heroes instead decided to investigate more about the Cathedral of Shadows, and got the clue that Den had found out about a similar building in Ziost, the ancient Sith Capital world.
- They also found out that, surprisingly, an Archaeologist had survived the trip to the planet, so they decided to visit him to check if he had found anything on the building.
- After traveling to Ryloth and going through a rebel blockade, they landed near the village of the Archeologist Orn Free Zebb, a somewhat scatterbrained and daring twi'lek.
- Orn was happy to share info with them, and gave them access to his documents, droids and colletion of items from the planet, which included lightsabers, sith swords and diferent parafernalia like robes, decorations, etc...
- Among the info was a recording of a building like the one Quin had seen on his visions, this building was empty on the inside and had different carvings on Sith that Orn had been unable to translate. To everyone's surprise, CR-0 knew how to speak old sith (since he was created to fight them it was an useful asset) and discovered that the carvings gave a set of galatic coordinates, a mantra that repeated itself over and over (...before the darkness of our Empire, before the darkness of King Adas, in the shadows it was born and it the shadows it awaits...) and also that this was some kind of Sith heresy, as the temple had been close down with big "keep out" symbols only reserved for this occasions.
- Right then, a trio of force adepts from the Cathedral assaulted them, but the heroes dispatched them with easness, better yet, they were able to capture one of them, and after stripping him of his suicide capsule via surgery, they interrogated him.
- He was locked in a weird mantra, but strangely enough a couple of words in old Sith startled him enough for Quin to dwelve a bit into his weakened mind, and discovered to his surprise that his mind was broken and mangled beyond belief, modified via de use of potent force techniques that had basically overwritten it and added complex orders and force techniques.
- Armed with all of this info, the team traveled to Tython and shared the information with the Jedi there, which were concerned about the evolution of the war and the part that this organization is having on it, the Masters agreed that the best was for the heroes to return to New Duro and investigate further there to see if they could find more info on this group.

The attack on the Relentless

Ok!

This update is easy, thankfully.

After 6 months, the sides on the war have been properly defined and the conflict has escalated.

The Rebel have established a base in Balmorra, citing the planets historic last stand and rebellion against the Sith as a symbol that they want to protect (unbeknownst to everyone that they originally planned to use New Duro as headquarters). Most of the elite armed forces and big capital ships (since they had high ranking officers in them) have defected to their side, and they have hired multiple mercenary units and enlisted some PDFs.

The jedi are also split on the war, as of now, there are 3 Jedi councils. One in Tython, where the masters that are trying to find a peaceful resolution for the problem are located; those that have moved back to Corusant, and support the Loyalist forces and a final group that has established a council in Balmorra, giving their support to the Rebels.

The adventure began with our heroes coming together to take down the Battlecruiser Relentless, which was in hand of the mandalorians that sided with the Rebels and had been used to harass the system defenses and transit.

4 fighter squadrons, one led by Jan attacked the ship from all sides while 2 assault transports and a boarding pod (with Quin, Nagroth and CR-0).

After finding out the hard way that the ship had faked some of it's damage to lure a smaller strike force in, our heroes managed to board it while Jan and his fighters pummeled the already weakened turret positions.

Quin, Nagroth and CR-0 fought their way across several floors till they managed to get to the bridge, where to Quin surprise, he found his Master Rymobe accompanied by the Red One.

Rymobe demanded their surrender, but Nagroth initiated the attack. Unfortunately, Rymobe was to powerful for our heroes at this stage, and in an act of fury seeing his apprentice raise his blade against him, he blasted the bridge with the force, sending our heroes out into the vacuum of space.

Luckyly, Jan was able to catch them in the nick of time with the Endless Resolve (and with some help of Nagroth's jetpack).

While the Relentless survived the attack, it had been severely pummeled by the fighters and damaged inside by the boarding parties, to the point were it was crippled so much as to be out of the fight for months if not years.

Our heroes falled back to the Mandalorian moon, were they will plan their next move, if they don't get caught up first in the clans conflict...
